- - Dr. Sawyer was the only doctor that knew of the problems associated with mesh implants. I was in excruciating pain and had no where to turn. Dr. Sawyer was on duty at MMH when I arrived in the emergency room. Two days later I was in surgery, three days later I felt better than I had in ten months.
